Emergency Notification Module - FAQs

  1. The Notification can be formatted in 3 layouts:

    • Announcement Bar

    • Pop Up

    • Slide-In CTA
  2. The module comes with pre-set icons, text and imagery for the following types of emergencies:

    • Severe Weather

    • Severe Flooding

    • Public Health Emergencies

    • Severe Public Disturbances

     

    You can also update the icon, text and images to customise the module to match any emergency situation your business is impacted by.

  3. Yes. The Emergency Notification Module can be styled with these variables/options:

    • Text colour

    • Background colour

    • Padding top and bottom of the button to make the button bigger / smaller.

    • Button text and background colour.

    • Custom icons can be added to the Notification


    Like all good modules you will achieve the best results by playing with each option until you achieve the desired set up.

  4. No. Ideally the shorter the better, otherwise you may face strange formatting issues on your website.

  5. Yes. You are able to control how often the module displays to a user. By default the module will appear once and will not appear again to the same user for 2 days. The module uses cookies to enable this.

  6. Yes. This means you can add it to all pages on your website but only need to edit it in one place for the changes to apply across the whole site.

    The Emergency Notification Module includes a Whitelist / Blacklist feature that can be used to limit or control which pages the module is displayed on. We recommend adding the module to every page on your website using HubSpot’s global HTML fields and using the modules built-in features to set which pages it appears on.

  7. No. This is a global module which means you can only have one on your site. If you want to have different Emergency Notifications on different pages you will need to purchase another Emergency Notification Module.

  8. Yes you can but at your own discretion. Enlighten IC cannot stand over any conflicts or errors which arise due to edits you have made.
